Hal, a 7′ tall human warrior and former surfer dude. In addition to his greatsword, leather breeches and boots, Hal has bronzewood breastplate armor and a steel helm - neither of which he likes to wear out of combat because he likes to feel the wind in his long, sunbleached hair and the sun on his tanned chest.Hal was part of a military company patrolling the coasts of Breland during the Last War when a demon ship boarded their ship and killed everyone but Hal. They tried to reap his heart, but screwed up. Instead of killing him, they only caused him to fall into a coma for over 10 years (earning him the nickname Hal van Winkle). He’s recently regained consciousness, finding a nasty mass of scars on his chest. Hal has a sinking suspicion his heart is missing, but he’s alive again, somehow. -- source link
