just-themys-fanarts:It’s been forever since I posted here, but I felt like sharing those !In late june I started doing some crossover shipping (different ship) and it’s way too fun not to do it again. As I was hyperfixating on Simon Keyes again, I got hit by nostalgia for one of my original problematic faves (and old hyperfixations) : Rock from the Metropolis animated movie from 2001 (and in general his roles in Tezuka’s star system). It was hard not to notice similarities between him and Simon (this is going to get spoilery) : their extreme methods to get what they want (not hesitating to k*ll people if needed), their father issues/search for a father figure, abandonment issues, their use of disguise and manipulation, the fact they’re both orphans… Since AA tends to create countries for the needs of some cases, I decided to just include Metropolis as a nation-city in this alternative world, and started shipping them at the end of their arc in their respective medias (shhh Rock survived, I said so), maybe having them trying to find some happiness together, with someone who understands them.Anyway yes, this is cringy as hell, but no, I don’t really care anymore, the world is going down in flames so might as well have fun !
