[ Progress & Goals ] - I’m 25 in this first picture and 41 in the second .. In the first picture, I used to run … a lot. I was always on the treadmill. In the second picture, I now lift and included my cardio into my WKOUT’s & I stopped worrying about meeting a target everyday & I go as hard as I can when I do WKOUT and enjoy what I do. ALOT ☺️ I train to feel healthy & confident, to have a body that will get me into old age. I’m not interested in competing against other body types or ages, and I’m too old to be worried about other peoples opinions of me. I used to think I was “to this or to that” … I spent so much time worrying about the things that I didn’t didn’t like, comparing my little frame against others, Wondering why I couldn’t look the same. Genetics are what make us all unique, it’s ourselves that tells us the internal dialogue that based on an external forces or some insecurity that we are not perfect just as we are. As I got older, I’ve realised it’s honestly about enjoying what you do, not trying to spend your time aiming for perfection. Happiness comes from loving what you do & adding that into your life consistently. I’ve learnt that no one is perfect, and those that are, get criticised anyway. Find a balance, enjoy the journey through this thing called life, because it ain’t easy for any of us.
