Heidi Watersworth is a twenty four year old character in Make Your Mark Roleplay, a literate group. She looks very similar to Clemence Poesy and is TAKEN. Name: Heidi Michelle Watersworth Nicknames: None Age: Twenty Four Date of Birth: May 17th (Taurus) Location of Birth: Moscow, Russia Gender Identity: Female Orientation: Bisexual Occupation: Clerk at a First Edition & Antique Bookstore Education: No Formal Education Identifying marks/tattoos: None Piercings: None Resides In: Manhattan, New York Neighborhood: SoHo Headcanon #1: Heidi has been saving up for a trip to Russia. She hasn’t seen it since she was eight years old, and desperately wants to explore her old world now that she’s an adult. A flight across the world is expensive though, and it’s taken her years to save up the money. Headcanon #2: Up to roleplayer! Moscow, Russia was not a particularly good place to grow up when Heidi was a young girl. The whole country was under the rule of Socialist dictator– it was cold, and her family didn’t have enough food or heat to live comfortably. Heidi’s mother hated her life there; she had moved to Russia solely for Heidi’s father, and he had cheated on her within the first two months there. They got a divorce, and Heidi’s mother spiraled into a deep depression. She would do everything she could to make her mother happy, but sadly, nothing that Heidi did would quell the sadness that sat in her heart. When Heidi was six years old, her mother killed herself. She walked in on the scene after a day of school; the gun was the first thing her eyes landed on, and then the pool of blood, and then her mother’s body. She was young and fragile, completely broken from the devastating loss of her mother. Heidi’s father refused to take custody of her, and with no other family members, she was forced into an orphanage. It became her home for the next two years, until she was adopted by an American couple that desperately wanted a child. Victoria and Michael Watersworth, a husband and wife from Phoenix, Arizona. They flew to Russia to get her, and then brought her back to their home in the United States. At first, Heidi was very disoriented. She suffered from extreme culture shock; it seemed like people in America were polar opposites from those in Russia. The air was hot and sticky, the music was different than she had ever heard before, and she didn’t like the food. More than anything, Heidi missed her mom. She would have episodes where it felt like she was back there with her, and they were living happily together. Other times, Heidi would have vivid hallucinations from when she walked in on her mother after the event. The doctor said that it was a form of post traumatic stress disorder, mixed with a mild form of schizophrenia. Heidi’s adoptive parents were kind and understanding, always willing to lend a helping hand or shoulder to cry on. Heidi never could open up to them, though. She had sadness locked deep inside her, just like her mother. Broken, hurt, and scared, Heidi resorted to any means that she could to make herself feel alive. She would self harm, involve herself in drugs and alcohol. By her sophomore year, Heidi was so lost in it all that she had to be admitted into clinic, where Victoria and Michael continued to offer their support. While she did begin to open up a bit, Heidi never truly let everything off her chest. After being admitted from the clinic, Heidi continued with her destructive ways, but became even more secretive and withdrawn. On her eighteenth birthday, Heidi received a check from her father. It wasn’t very much, but combined with her savings and some money from her adoptive parents, it was enough to move away from Arizona. Heidi longed for somewhere cold, and thought that New York would be the perfect place to start a new life. She’s been living in the city ever since. Her episodes come few and less frequently now, although she does still experience them every once in a while. Part of her remains broken over the death of her mother, and continues down the path of self-destruction. Another part of her feels extremely grateful about her new chance for life in the big city. She’s been able to accomplish things that her mother never would have been able to, and in so, she’s able to carry on her legacy. Currently, she works as a book clerk at an antique book store. She spends a good amount of her time with her head stuck in one of the many first-editions offered at the shop, usually at a coffee shop or park. Heidi continues to drink and do drugs frequently, although her self-harm has slowed down since her teenage years. She’s doing anything and everything she can do just to get by, even though she hasn’t been dealt the best hand in life.
