Carlie stood there, pencil pressed to the paper of her little notepad. Her ears and tail twitched. Had she heard that right? “Um… just to confirm, ma'am… you want ten of the sampler platter? Are you, erm, waiting for more of your party to arrive?” The small (at least with regards to height) rabbit looked up at Carlie with a patient smile on her face. She gave her round belly a firm pat. “No, it’s just me. And don’t worry, I can handle it. I’m eating for two dozen, here.” Carlie felt her ears flush a bit. While the exact number was surely hyperbole, the rabbit’s belly was massive: that was not a small litter she was carrying. “Alright then, ma'am, I’ll get your order in. It might take the kitchen a few minutes.” “Feel free to start bringing food out even if it’s not all ready yet,” the rabbit said. Carlie nodded, making another note on her pad. “Yes, we can do that.” She glanced down at the rabbit’s stomach just in time to see a significant twitch. “Gosh, it looks like they’re quite energetic!” The rabbit responded by reaching down beneath her belly, taking the bottom of her shirt in her hand and tugging it up to partially expose the furry orb. “You have no idea. It feels like the aftermath of a dance party in there!” Carlie felt her ears burn again. “Oh, you poor thing! Well, um, I don’t want to keep you waiting, so I’ll go put your order in.” “Thank you, sweetie.” Carlie walked more quickly than normal back towards the kitchens. It took a bit of work to convince the kitchen staff that the order was, in fact, correct. Carlie could barely believe it herself. Pregnancy or not, that tiny bunny could hardly put away that much food, could she? But as the evening wore on, it quickly became quite clear that she could. When the first platter was ready, the bunny dug in with gusto. She practically seemed to inhale the food, scarfing down burgers in almost a single bite and shoveling fries and chips into her mouth by the handful. Chicken wings vanished into her gullet (had she swallowed the bones, too?) and she guzzled soda so fast that Carlie had trouble keeping up with her, eventually prompting her to start bringing multiple glasses at once. And she destroyed platter after platter, with no sign of slowing down. The kitchen kept preparing food, and she kept downing it. Carlie was fairly certain that, physically, there was no way the rabbit could have enough space inside her for as much as she was consuming, and yet the squirrel could see with her own eyes as yet another plate of food disappeared into the bunny’s gullet. Eventually, the tenth platter was cleaned. The bunny sat there, smiling to herself. She let out a small belch, before covering her mouth with her hands and saying a polite “excuse me!” Though her fingers and the area around her lips looked a bit sticky, she had been a remarkably clean eater, all things considered. “Um, I, erm, have your check,” Carlie said, putting the receipt on the table. “Can I get you anything else?” The bunny looked up at Carlie with a low-lidded expression that, for some reason, caused the squirrel’s heart to skip a beat. “Actually, sweetie, I would like one more thing.” ——– Dylan was working at the greeter’s station when the bunny walked by. He could hardly miss her: her large, round stomach was on display, her shirt bunched up just beneath her breasts. He was, of course, aware of the customer who had been eating up a storm all evening, and he couldn’t help but wonder just how much of that bulge was her pregnancy, and how much was food. “I hope you enjoyed your meal, ma'am,” Dylan said. The bunny smiled up at him. She appeared to still be licking sauce from her fingers. “I definitely did!” She was already walking out the door when he noticed one of the waitresses, a feline named Janet, walking hurriedly towards him. He tensed as he saw the concerned expression on her face. “Oh, no!” He exclaimed, before she had a chance to speak. “Please don’t tell me that after all that, that bunny just dined-and-ditched!” Janet froze, startled. “Huh? Oh, no! She didn’t wait for her ticket, but she left enough cash on her table to pay for her meal and then some.” Dylan let out a relieved sigh. “Oh, thank goodness. Then what’s wrong?” “Well, it’s just that, Carlie was waiting on the rabbit’s table…” Janet said, her brow furrowed. “… and now… now I can’t find her anywhere.” ——– The rabbit licked her lips and smiled to herself as she walked towards the bus station that would take her home, still tasting the lingering flavors on her tongue. It had been a delicious, filling meal… not that she didn’t always feel full. She ran her hands over her furry belly, basking in the warmth and gentle squirming she could feel within. Though there was no one around to hear, her lips parted, and she spoke a few words. “Welcome to the party. Hope you enjoy yourself.” She chuckled to herself, then ran her tongue through the space between her teeth and her gums. She would have to visit that restaurant again. ——– (A sequel to that Party Inside picture/story from the other day!) -- source link
