Oldboy (2003) is a movie I don’t need to review. A lot of people will say this is the quintessential east asian film; it’s acciesble yet deep plot has landed in a type of cult status in American culture along with other ‘starter’ movies like Audition or Ichi the Killer. I rewatched this the other day and the climax still gets my adrenaline flowing. -- source link
