We all knew that Miss Evans, our former Literature teacher had retired, so there was some excitement in the playground about who was going to be the new teacher.When we saw a young and unknown woman (on the left) coming into the school yard with Miss Roberts (on the right), we all assumed that she was the new teacher and we couldn’t better than to curiously stare at her.(New teacher):- Jane, you said this school you recommended me is a posh one with polite pupils, why are those boys ogling at me that way?(M. Roberts):- Don’t worry Sarah, don’t think anything inappropriate about them. I have been working here for four years now and I know how the boys of this school think. Believe it or not, they are not thinking about you as a pretty woman dressing an elegant mini-skirt. They are only trying to evaluate how hard you can hit, in case you had to cane them.
