Thank you so much for the kind words ; u ; Hmm, for me I don’t think there’s an art program that can be considered the best. Everyone have their own preference. Some people use Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, etc. In my case, I use SAI but that’s mostly because I’m too stupid to figure out how to use other art programs haha =u=“ But SAI is quite good for beginners since it’s pretty easy to use, tho some people said the tools are kinda limited. You don’t need to stick with one program either. Photoshop filters are great for finished artworks.I would suggest you get a tablet tho if you want to focus on digital. It’s possible to draw with a mouse, but it’ll be a bit difficult unless you’re doing pixel arts. Tablet pen is nice for smoother line with pressure sensitivity. Where you might need to mess around with the settings a lot, if you want to draw with a mouse. But tbh anything’s possible really, I mean look at this guy: And please don’t stop drawing with pencils. Drawing traditionally can give you more XP than digitally. Because with digital art you can cheat a bit like ctrl+z(undo) or free transform your line art instead of drawing it properly (bad habit of mine). Eventho I mostly do digital, I still practice with sketches on paper. Don’t give up on em’. You can always scan your pencils drawings and edit them digitally to make it look cleaner (ง •̀ω•́)ง✧ -- source link
