fuckyesmariabrink: thebloodlegion: I have struggled with anxiety and depression my whole life. Only in recent years have I gotten it under control and ultimately gotten sober as well. (I just celebrated 6 years of sobriety) With those changes came the opportunity to join In This Moment. My life has completely changed, and I now know that part of the reason I have been given this chance with the band is to be open about my own struggle in the hopes of helping others. One of our fans took her own life today. I met her briefly, but she had reached out while I was on tour and told my wife, Bridget, that my honesty about my own demons gave her hope. Somewhere she lost that hope. We are heartbroken. The You Rock Foundation was created to serve as a safe haven for those who have suffered or are currently suffering.
