I was so worried this year was going to be another dull storm year and I couldn’t have been more wrong. I’ve already got more amazing pictures this year than the last two years combined and it hasn’t even really warmed up yet. oddly, what’s missing is sunset for me. I’m saving all my energy (and strain on my body being pulverized by physio) for storms and missing time with the sun. something always loses. I am noticing, though, a shift. this winter I fell in love with the color blue in my photos which I’ve always disliked and this spring I’m finding I’m really interested in deep rich greens which usually make me wretch a little. I’ll try to get on exploring that when not making storm pictures, time-lapses and all the other stuff I want to explore this year. -- source link
