i have followed & admired @tedd2s’ work for a long time & i had hoped that someday, our paths would somehow cross & my skin would become the canvas for his art & ink ✨ @tedd2s lives & works in #peterborough, which was the small white town where i landed when i first came to canada (but we didn’t know each other then) ♂️ so when i found out that Tedd was coming to #montreal it felt like an affirmation from the universe (particularly when a spot unexpectedly opened for me!) i find Tedd’s shadow project such a beautiful meditation on plants & light, particularly weed ecologies (as we tend to pay little attention/know very little about weeds & the histories they carry) for this project, Tedd made the offering of a sand dropseed, a weed native to these territories. i couldn’t be happier (at Montreal, Quebec) https://www.instagram.com/p/CUI-SedLxwA/?utm_medium=tumblr -- source link
