felipeandletizia: May 4, 2022: Queen Letizia presided the 30th meeting of the Council of the Royal Board of Trustees on Disability and delivered the “Queen Letizia Awards 2021”These awards are convened by the Royal Board of Trustees on Disability with the aim of developing programs and actions to raise awareness of disability and universal accessibility, specifically, in areas related to research, accessibility and universal design in municipalities, labor inclusion, accessible information and communication technologies, artistic creation or interpretation, the promotion and encouragement of inclusive sport and the knowledge and effective application of the International Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities. This call has especially taken into account the recognition of candidates with a gender perspective and that promote the rights of women and girls with disabilities. -- source link
