At long last… the First Wishbone Public Beta is available for download! The link can be found on the “Beta Download” page of our blog.This is a (nearly) complete vertical slice of the first season of the game: Spring of Year 1. A few things are still incomplete (for example, the final game will have more early game quests available, and some non-plot-relevant dialog is still WIP), but overall it’s very close to finished. There’s plenty to see and do, lots of NPCs to get to know, animals to raise, and secrets to find. If you’re feeling benevolent, you can even run the game with the debug console enabled and help us out by hunting for bugs. There’s about 8-10 hours of gameplay in this demo, depending on how thorough you are. Please look at the README file for information about the controls, how to submit bugs, and other stuff.This project has been a huge labor of love and I’m very excited (and a little terrified) at the prospect of finally getting to share it with you.
