A 22K PUCKER - cast & carved dental stone, 22k gilding, black faux suede shadowbox, wood, glass, paint - 6¼"x 7"x 2¾"This was cast from the original mold for the series. The lips are slightly smaller than life size. Over two dozen variations of these lips were modeled by assembling/joining multiple wax castings from this mold and then adding plasticene clay, or by modifying the wax to open the mouth to different degrees. Each of the variations had a negative mold cast from them — most of which subsequently had only a single casting in bronze or ceramic cast from them. -- source link
