Today I want you to celebrate independence in a different way! I want you to celebrate the freedom to be visible, show up and be confident and beautiful on your own terms and not what you think it should look like but what you want it to look like. As brides we only see representation that looks one size. Today is about the freedom to realize that it doesn’t have to look that way and yes just because you don’t fit “the mold” that the internet has made you think there is (I’m here to show you that it isn’t true) doesn’t mean you don’t belong here. You are simply a plus size bride who wants to look and feel confident on your wedding day. And may I even say sexy! Yes sis we are going to get your sexy back, you are worthy of that! It’s your day to be free to see yourself walking down the aisle with all eyes on you and you being ok (people love to look at someone who is actually confident with people looking at them), wearing what you want, doing what you want, saying what you want because it’s literally your right! And sis, we all aren’t one size fits all, so be free to think what’s possible if you could embrace where you are RIGHT NOW, those curves, those rolls, that double chin that pops out when you have those full body laughs (I personally love when mine comes out because I know that I’m having the best time EVER!) and just be comfortable in your body because it takes so much more energy to not be comfortable! I know you are scared of what people will say, let me tell you fear of judgement is real but what’s more important, you embracing your body and being the most confident and beautiful bride EVER so that you inspire others, and so your partner can truly see the amazing woman that they GET to marry no hiding, so that you take your love to another level or you caring about what people think when honestly they don’t even really care as much as you think they do.
