sluggoonthestreet:Nadine and the Long Road In Algy’s opinion the magical work of pavement artist (hardly an adequate description!) @sluggoonthestreet is one of the most wonderful things on tumblr.Unlike the creators of most of the blogs Algy follows - many of whom Algy has got to know personally albeit remotely over time - @sluggoonthestreet remains a mysterious stranger, creating lovely, whimsical, ephemeral work in an environment which Algy has never seen - so Algy is profoundly grateful that he takes the trouble to share and preserve his work here on tumblr. It’s fascinating, too, to see the videos showing the work in its “real world” context (a new feature, Algy thinks) although this sometimes removes a wee bit of the magic. That is not the case with “Nadine and the long road” though - in fact the magic is rather increased by seeing the context here. Algy is not so sure that the “real world” is truly the real one…Algy @adventuresofalgy sends @sluggoonthestreet his fluffiest thanks and hugs for creating and sharing this unique vision of the world -- source link
