10yrsyart: hello, it be my bday today. recently my family watched Hook again (a fav of mine) and i got to thinking about how many Peter Pans i actually had growing up. i love them all for their differences, but there was something particularly special about Mary Martin. she had a magic about her in that role, and her version got my imagination going way more than CGI ever has. (it makes me think of God’s promise of future flight, immortality, and adventure to His children, and boy am i looking forward to that hahah) -- source link
