So, today Animate opened a Gangsta “museum” in Animate Ikebukuro headquarters and I was anyway going to Ikebukuro, I decided to go and take a look…First “unpleasant” surprise was that no photos were allowed, expect in the photo conner where you could take a photo of of yourself standing next to the handyman and their office table. It would all be great expect the ceiling lighting.. no way how I tried, it always reflected on the life size figures. Anyway.. I tried to sneak some pictures from there. Sorry, they are taken by phone and do not have the best quality :(There was a corner with images from both manga and anime to reflect how anime has followed the original drawings and ideas. It was really nice wall and I tried to sneak a photo but it was too blur :(Then there was a stand with chibi-drawings of some chars and first volume dvd set on a display. On another corner they had some goods for sale with usual suspects like rubber keychains and badges. The most interesting discovery, that I almost overlooked, was next to the exit where there was board where you could stick your notes and tons of lovely notepapers with those illustration that they use for Animate exclusive keychains that come with dvd purchases. Anyway.. instead of writing a note for a board I sneaked away with one copy of each notepaper :D -- source link
