I drew Black for #specialgala2020!! I matched with the lovely @prezs, she drew White~ We decided to go for warrior angels theme for this outfit, and made the details based on their birth flowers, birth pokemon (zodiac), black opal, etc!! (we worked so hard on this ; v ;)Since Black and White were born three days apart, we decided to theme their outfits together! October’s birthstone, the opal, comes in a variety of colors - this includes the black opal and white opal. Black is primarily wearing black, while White is primarily wearing white. However, Blacks crown and sword incorporate use of the white opal, while White’s crown and outfit incorporate use of the black opal. As for tourmaline, October’s second birthstone, three can be found on White’s armor and staff. The golden flames on both Black and White’s outfits represent Lampent, the Pokemon Zodiac for October. There is also a little Lampent engraved into White’s armor, while Black’s cape has a Lampent clasp. Black and White have matching scale earrings, as they are Libras. Since they’re air signs, both of their outfits are loosely themed after angels. Finally, Marigolds, October’s birth flower, can be found on Black’s cape and White’s staff.
