Splash! X super bubbly super friendly! Its not just kids that love bathtime xNews time and with reference to my other post about the Scottish referendum:Letters of indemnification, pardon or immunity from prosecution however you like to define them were given to known “on the run” members of the IRA or similar as part of the Good Friday agreement by the British government apparently with the knowledge of the Ulster Unionists, although they deny it. A comment was made outlining how in the dismissal of a case of a man linked with the bombing, over thirty years ago, of police officers in Hyde Park, it would appear a letter from the government (however accidental they claim it was issued) overrides the ability of the courts to prosecute a man charged with terrorist offenses. Understandably this sticks in the throat when looked at in isolation, but should be looked at as part of the agreement as a whole, and part of how politics is really done however much you might not like it. If these letters had not been issued, perhaps no agreement would have been made and further terrorist acts could have been committed and the Republicans would not form part of the power sharing authority in Northern Ireland better on the inside pissing out? Who knows. It would appear there is nothing that can be done about after the act has been implemented, but it raises a further issue. If this is how agreements are reached, firstly it absolutely flies in the face of the most commonly used term, “We refuse to negotiate with terrorists” which is obviously bollocks, but what else does it say about those people we elect (although far from always) to negotiate on our behalf. If the same or similar people are responsible for other negotiations with groups, states or organisations all the time what can we expect for the future of our country? Examples would be the European negotiations, the Scottish separatism referendum, or the deals done to help those seeking to “frac” or hydraulically fracturing the rocks beneath us to extract shale gas. How many compromises will be made we are not party to and will only find out when its too late? How about the deals struck in the Nineties with the PPI organisations where we sold public buildings to lease them back to essentially hide our public debt at huge costs and large profits for those developers to build schools and hospitals?I’m not suggesting any of these activities are criminal or terrorist in nature, just that the amount at stake - particularly that with the Scottish referendum is so critical that any mistake made (and they will be made in such a complex agreement) could come back to haunt us at any time possibly with huge consequence for us and no fallout for those making the deals for us.I don’t even have a suggestion for how these negotiations should be improved other than we should be able to hold these people to account more strongly than we do now.So now assuming they don’t bankrupt us in the mean time how about a more pleasurable experience for your trip to Birmingham next time you are here - check out some of our Birmingham escorts, get some bubbles going and enjoy a fab time with one of our girls! -- source link
