I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress in defining my style, especially over the past few months. So I decided the 30th Anniversary of Sailor Moon (can you believe it?!) was the perfect opportunity to take another swing at my Sailor Jupiter (my favorite Sailor Scout) portrait from last summer. I didn’t do anything to the original sketch, I just softened the line work, recolored and re-shaded, and drew in the lightning instead of using a stamp brush. I think it’s much more representative of the look I’ve been developing and I’m much happier with her now. Swipe to see a side by side. What do you think? Is she more “me” now?
