An eight hour journey leading to a single moment in today’s feature Collective submission. madeinthe80s: When I heard that Heavy and Light would be going on tour, I immediately started planning a road trip. A friend and I traveled the 8 hours to Chicago just so we could experience this. Now, this photo isn’t of my exact favorite moment but its close. Jon Foreman came out into the crowd, with guitar unplugged and no mic, and started singing “Dare You to Move” and insisted that the crowd sang with him. “I know we’ve all experienced pain, we’ve all experienced things we need to rise above. This is a song about emotion and a belief in a world that could potentially exist. I believe we call that hope.”-Jon Foreman The feeling in that moment was unforgettable. An entire room of people bonded together by a song, by a likeness, by a feeling of hope. The entire evening, I couldn’t help but feel like I was at home and at peace. Thanks TWLOHA for all you do. It’s not the greatest quality, but if you want to see/hear what moment I’m talking about, check it out here. -- source link
