rc-designz: Cover Art: Drake - 5 A.M. In Toronto. Edit: Added an alternate version. 5 A.M. in Toronto PT Critique time!. I’m tired of people always saying Drake is just a Singer not a Rapper. Clearly if you ever doubted him 5 A.M. in Toronto proved Otherwise. Drizzy is HERE! HE HAS ARRIVED hip hop & all Mr.Ovoxo is here to stay. I without a doubt enjoyed this track all throughout this one Drizzy stays going hard. Most people would say that just because Drake was on Degrassi he really never “started from the bottom” as he claims to have. Drake in other words grew up privileged, however I understand him and his music. Although he was privileged Drake worked hard to get were he is and to be on top. NOT everyone who auditions for a show makes it, it takes talent. Same applies for HIP HOP. REAL hip hop is determined by your God Given Talent and use of words. Drake had to prove himself when he started. I remember seeing ” Replacement Girl ” for the first time not thinking he had what it takes he proved otherwise. So for those of y’all saying he didn’t start from the bottom re-evaluate all that it takes to make it in this industry. Drake Bravo 5 a.m. in Toronto was Dope and I applaud you, and for all those hating I’m pretty sure atleast one of his songs has caught your attention. Music speaks regardless weather or not he started from a Hood or suburbs, someone or anyone can relate to a song with great meaning. The deeper part of music is that it speaks to us & we can indeed relate so as an artist he is doing his part we think deeper as we listen. So to everyone I say “who cares”, he’s not a poser that’s just you hating so shut up & listen to the track & feel the music weather it’s realatable or not , It’s GOOD MUSIC!
