Fuelled by a double shot flat white, a sausage roll and the glory of completing the Sydney Harbour Challenge, I did my first overseas and solo wall in Marrickville. Was a blast painting painting at somewhere unfamiliar to me. Painting was based off my paddle club team’s logo creature - the cockatrice! There were some middle aged women walking by when I was painting, and they were delighted to see a woman painting at that spot the first time. Ben was really kind to print out a map and guide me to this spot.
