2015 in a Nutshell: It’s been a while! I’ll try and keep this short and sweet! Creative roadblocks happen.. its definitely a thing. You never can anticipate it happening, but it did, and it happens to the best of us. So what has Link Dead Studios been doing all this time? Over the past year and ½ we’ve been studying the form of Sculpture in a digital format. It allows us to play more with the art form while also saving time and trying out new styles. Not to worry, we’re not converting entirely, but more of approaching from a different standpoint. Traditional sculpture will still play a very important role in releases. With that in mind, we’d love to share with you the first pass render of everyone’s favorite blob. The clay sculpture/armature has already been started and will soon be moving on to tooling. As this is just a render, it does not accurately reflect the amazing skin tone paint job that is planned. He will be a lot dirtier & veiny, all while still retaining his adorableness.For those Dark Souls fans out there, you’re not forgotten.
