FINALLY DOING WORK ON MY OCS AND SHITOk, so I finally sat down and did some worldbuilding stuff regarding my OCs from my D&D-verse. First thing I decided to do was go through the main draconic bloodlines. Because if anyone knows anything about dragons, they tend to have a lot of descendants because they can crossbreed with anything.AND! Since my campaign is called “Dragon’s Legacy”, the plot mostly revolves around dragon bloodlines. I’ve always liked toying with the idea of so called “mongrel dragonborn”, given that they’re usually very clan-based between the different types. But my story is based around the idea of dragons, and their bloodlines becoming so threatened, that the dragonborn have no option but to all band together. To learn more about all these guys, go check out the OC page, but here’s a quick summary.DragonsLord Nordrak: (Prologue) One of the few remaining dragons that survived the dragonslayer age. Disguised himself as a human baron and married an elf princess. Grew old as he began a new line of dragonborn.Lord Corinthe: (Prologue) An ambitious red dragon who fancies himself as the new vessel of an ancient draconic god of destruction. Disguised himself as a sorcerer in order to manipulate a king to his own ends.Ishrafel: A young blue dragon hatched after the 1st age, seeking her place in a world abandoned by her kind. Albus: A gold dragon from a long line of elven patrons. He offers his guidance to many, including one of his half-breed descendants in his time of need. Lady Heir Nordrak: (3rd age) A self-replicated egg laid by Nordrak. Hatched roughly 100 years before the 1st age of man, and is now an adolescent. Cultists seek her for a ritual dedicated to the dragon god Tiamat.Delvari: Hatched from an egg stolen from Nordrak, Delvari is the half-breed son of Corinthe, though he keeps his heritage secret, hiding his insecurity through his demands for purity in his dragonborn descendants.DragonbornKuurevar: A half- dragon driven more by his draconic wanderlust than any other commitments, he is never found in one place for very long. Though his influence, and offspring, are left along the path he walks.Balasar: (2nd age) Eldest dragonborn of the Nordrak line, and reluctant heir to the house noble line.Iruhar: (2nd age) Student priest of Bahamut, acting as ambassador in Balasar’s absence. Frequently overwhelmed, but just wants to do his best.Parallexus: Born as a noble heir to House Delvari, former slave to Corinthe’s cult, gained Albus’ favour and fought his way to redemption as king of a united house.Mordred: Parallexus’ son. Quiet, calculating and difficult to read. Goes on to fulfill the role of paladin that his father was unable to.Norisar: Raised amongst Yuan-ti, where he excelled as a ranger. Retains a lot of draconic attitude about superiority.Corin: Descendant of Corinthe and high-ranking member of the cult dedicated to him. Offers himself as the vessel through which the ancient dragon will be reanimated.Hoping to do more with these guys in future! -- source link
