alessiajontrunfio: One of my 1000000000 headcanons is that before James and Lily officially started dating, there was a period at the beginning of their seventh year in which James (who was trying to be more mature) simply wanted to be friends with Lily. He tried in every ways not to be annoying and this behavior pushed Lily to get closer to Him. This gives James the opportunity to show his “kinder” and mature side.Obviously it was not that easy for James to hold back his feelings. -- source link
