Some random #characterdesign researches, inspired by #gretathunber. I think she has a very interesting, beautiful and powerful face. And I support her 1000% of course. Also, It has been a hard time for me to draw for fun (I m talking about drawing for myself. I of course maintain a high level drawing at work). Sometimes and during a big time, I don’t want to draw for me. I don’t have fun. I don’t have the energy for it. I know myself enough to not panic and to just relax and let it go, being super lazy. Chill, read books, play video games, walk into the forest, spend time with people I love, eat great food and cook it, doing some workout. But book are the number one medication because it make me think a lot. Inspiring me a lot. And real long holidays too. It can take months for me to recover. After 3 weeks of full time holidays, I feel I can come back to drawing for myself, now, little by little, because I am having fun again. But it will take time to be super grounded again. I need to practice and doodling a lot. No panic. I am sharing this thought in order to reassure young #artists who may read this instagram and feel not grounded with their Art sometimes: about it happen regulary to me to need to rest for a long period, and that is okay. Drawing my comicbook on my sparetime exhausted me. And it is normal to be exhausted. No hard feeling of course. And also I am saying that to spread the message that we are artists, not robots and we need to rest and we need to not work too much all the time, in order to give the best of our #Art and we need to not forget to HAVE #FUN first of all. https://www.instagram.com/p/B63vt8Kqeva/?igshid=1ayhprpf0mqdb -- source link
