“…what’s the matter?” She finally starts to hear him over her hiccupping sobs. “Tohru, talk to me.”And she wants to, and she tries – because talking to him always made her feel better before. But when she sees him like this, open and constant and here, it feels too close to a future where he’s gone. It feels like two sides of the same coin, and now she hates looking at either of them.
