CANCER FREE! I’ve got great news! My sweet Heaven’s biopsy results came back and we found out it’s NOT cancer! The texture and firmness of the tumor had us all concerned, but I’m soooo happy to say the tumor is benign. So now, #Heaven just needs to heal from the incision - she ripped out half of her sutures and got an infection, but she is on antibiotics and will hopefully be better soon! Heaven has always been the mama bear of the group, so even when she wasn’t feeling great, this whole time, she’s been there to kiss and groom the #babyrats and be a pillow for #Potato to sleep on. And I want to give my babies #Toupee and #Roux so much credit! They are the craziest, most playful rats I’ve ever had, yet since the surgery, they have not once tried to pounce on or play with Heaven. As if they know, she needs to rest and heal. These animals have so much empathy … if only more people knew the love of rats! Now if you’ll excuse me… I have to go stop Roux from eating my headboard. Never a dull moment in this household!
