Shiro could feel it even without opening his eyes.The acrid scent of cigarette smoke filled the air but with it came something more pleasant underneath. It was the smell of damp earth, silent stretches of unbroken snow and the old ashes of a burned out fire. Cracking an eye open, he breathed in deeply of the strangely comforting cacophony of smells and was met with two burning red orbs.A languid smile curled over Keith’s lips. “Certainly the best sight I’ve woken up to in awhile.” the demon purred, though he sounded genuine.“Was it good for you too, Feathers?”Shiro sighed, but there was no point in lying.“Yes.” I am still madly in love with @lightningstrikes-art and @pining-sheith ‘s Sheith SPN AU. Had this randomly pop into my head while at work and had to draw it and write the scene snippet. Also my first attempt at painting smoke.
