Even though Patient #21,000 was technically already a one-eyed Eastern screech owl (he was blind) - now he REALLY is a one-eyed Eastern screech owl. Last week, we successfully eviscerated his right eye. The globe itself was partially collapsed and the eye was not functional, and more than likely painful, so this was a step in the right direction for him. He is well on his way to healing - eating well and calm. The future looks bright! -- source link
