alittlespicy:swaybound:Ropes on a girl are like lines on a canvas. What they express depend entirely on the artist laying them down. They can be skillful or inept, deliberate or accidental, sensual or rough, minimalist or ornate, gently emphasizing or relentlessly reshaping.Maybe that’s why I find rope bondage admirable, but in practice terribly frustrating…This. Also, bound toes. It’s a thing of mine. How many of you tumbunnies actually do rope bondage? We do. Sometimes. I know the basics. As in: I know how to do a few variations of single and double column ties, how to connect ropes, what to watch out for, etc. Mostly the western stuff. There’s actually quite a lot of rope workshops and meetups going on around here. You got be one of the “in” kids though. So shibari + natural rope is the order of the day. I almost want to get into it more just to socialize. Beats ordinary munches.Problem is: I absolutely despise feeling clumsy (and slow/boring). And longish rope has the tendency to make me feel clumsy. I also like relatively inescapable bondage, which is surprisingly hard to do.Or more accurately, I’d like to be able to escalate it. If subby wants to play escape artist, I’d be cool if you could retie her in ways that make her increasingly uncomfortable and securely tied. It’s kinda lame if she struggles, you fix it, and she can still get out. Especially if that retying happens more than once.In other words, it’s hard to feel domly and practice rope bondage at the same time. One day I’ll be really good at it though. I swear. -- source link
