spooningcaptainamerica: I’ve been reading Invincible Iron Man recently, and I need to take a moment to express how freaking perfect Maria Hill is in this. There’s so much here that you get hints at in the movie that I have just been falling in love with. She’s so much more than device, she has facets, she kicks some major ass. And she kicks that ass while being seriously broken in a lot of ways, I might add. I also love the glimpse we get at the relationship between Maria and Natasha, here. It’s clear they have a strong bond of some kind, and there’s room for exploration. There’s a level of intimacy shown with them that I hadn’t expected, but am utterly delighted to discover. I’ve always been curious about the relationship between Maria and Natasha myself, on a number of different levels. I like that they clearly have each other’s back. Seriously though, I highly recommend reading this run if you can, it’s also been giving me all kinds of Tony feelings that I’d never had before. -- source link
