ON A ROLLL not really haha, I have a queue of at least 5 more, and only recently got a bit more motivated to continue these again here instead of just on the bird app, but anyway, here’s another transmigration (DOUBLE transmigration) I like!! Plus the traditional chinese physical print is up for pre-order for a few more weeks too and the print is gorgeoussss!!SummaryShao Re Wan transmigrates into a xianxia world where he is the first disciple of the Qing Ming Shan Sect. Obviously, as someone who’s transmigrated from modern society into this story, he knows how it ends for him and everyone around him - Wei Chang Ze is the evil protagonist of the story. He was a young, promising young man from a wealthy and powerful family, who grew up the envy of many other children, when his mother’s country rebels against the current regime. In the span of a day, he goes from a promising young man with a bright future to the son of a traitor. They can’t really kill him, but they can’t let him live as before either, so he’s sent to Qing Ming Shan to suffer. Everyone in the sect looks down on him, spits on him, bullies him - and as a result, over the years, his resentment grows, and in the 5 years he’s there, he secretly trains his martial arts skill. Until one day, a crazed demonic cultivator comes knocking on Qing Ming Shan’s doors looking for revenge, and slaughters the 80+ people there, including Shao Re Wan. The man however takes a liking to Wei Chang Ze, and takes him in as a disciple after. After seeing the spoilers, as is expected of him, Shao Re Wan starts thinking about how he can be nicer to Wei Chang Ze, how he can help him, so that when that demonic cultivator finally finds him way up here, Wei Chang Ze will at least think about helping him survive. Lo and behold, as all transmigration stories go, Wei Chang Ze takes a liking to him instead. There’s something off about Wei Chang Ze, though. Shao Re Wan is more or less familiar with his character and personality, but the man isn’t exactly behaving as he read, and that’s because…Wei Chang Ze transmigrated too! Two transmigrated individuals can greatly change the course of any written story, and the both of them are going to find out just how far they deviated from the plot, all while deciding that yes, they are gay for each other after all.ReadNovel (Online) | Novel (Print) - Traditional CN Print Characters1. 邵日宛 Shao Re Wan - His character in the book was basically a bully, and he obviously met his demise as a nobody, and when Shao Re wan transmigrates, he wants to survive, and knows that he has to have WCZ on his side if that’s the case. He starts to be nice to him, plucks him out of the sad hut he was living in to stay with him, to get him to practice his evil martial arts but for good causes, to stand up for him against other unreasonable disciples in the sect, including his prejudiced shifu (that he feels nothing for).Never thought that he’d fall for a man but he does, and when he and WCZ (after finding out that the man also transmigrated) decide to change the course of the story, they have to part for a bit, and that’s when SRW sort of realizes that he kinda likes the guy, a lot. Since they can’t return, they have to find some way to cultivate together and get through the major events of this book together.2. 魏长泽 Wei Chang Ze - Originally a character blinded by hatred, when WCZ transmigrates into this character’s body, he too knows the storyline and what role he’s supposed to play. He doesn’t really want to do it though, because it’s honestly really effort-consuming, even though he has to, to some extent, follow the storyline. So instead of being repressed and resentful WCZ is now lazy and brushes the bullying off his back like it’s none of his business. He’s confused when SRW starts to engage with him, because he’s sure that SRW wasn’t this friendly in the original story, but it’s impossible that someone else transmigrated into this too…. right?Confirms his suspicions about mid-way through the book, and he and SRW confirm that they have feelings for each other, before he gets himself ousted out of the sect before the demonic cultivator turns up as in the book, as that’s his only way to get out of having to become disciple to a mad man AND turning into ultimate big bad in the future.Other Things I Like in the NovelSRW takes on the mother-henning and nagging role, as he starts to properly ‘guide’ and whip WCZ into shape. WCZ-transmigrated is appalled that SRW forces him to wake up at the crack of dawn to attend classes, and that when he’s away, SRW bribes other disciples and help in the sect to rudely wake him up when needed at the same timeThey end up changing the course of the story when WCZ gets himself ousted from the sect - the demonic cultivator turns up earlier than expected, and WCZ can’t get back in time to save SRW wherever he’s secretly training at, and SRW escapes with some others by the skin of his teeth. Although he escapes, the demonic cultivator chases after him, determined to hunt him down, but WCZ finally turns up and they’re reunited!!!!Side imperial family-related plot with one of WCZ’s new shixiongs, and the teenager that escapes with SRW and WCZ from the sect -- source link
