Wanted to draw some flowers and thought the meaning of the black rose (death, hatred, farewell, rejuvenation or rebirth) suited Kerillian well. Here’s a nice explanation for each meaning and how it relates to Kerillian that my friend wrote up under the cut:The first would be her exile as experiencing death. An end of a previous life never to be lived again. This leads to hatred for her situation and maybe in part herself as she feels she is to blame for it. And it also means she is now confronted with having to roam the lands and avoid people for whom she has disdain. It is a farewell to her old life, as she lives on. But it is also rebirth, as she makes allies and perhaps even friends with races she would normally never have graced with her presence. A new unexpected life. The second is her path towards Khaine. Khaine is the god of war, and death. A path that would be fed by her hatred for her lost life in Athel Loren, a hatred for foes that constantly besiege her. Maybe even hatred for her new allies who after all are of inferior species and remind her of her situation. This would mean farewell however. Not just of her previous life this time, but of herself. Giving in to Khaine means a sinister rebirth which she can never come back from. And eventually it would mean a farewell of her new allies as well. -- source link
