My latest portrait commission are three horse portraits. Here is the 1st one. This is a digital portrait made to look like an oil painting. As you can see I paint everything by hand just as is I were to paint a traditional oil portrait. My client is gifting these portraits to friends and decided to keep the same back drop with slight modifications. I tried to play with texture and was thinking how gorgous this would look as an oil painting. Unfortunatley everytime a painting gets printed on canvas tactile texture is lost. This digital painting measures 8x10inches and I hope that the recipient will enjoy this very special gift. Here is a slide show of the painting progression.
