Hi there! I’ve had this little guy for about seven months or so, but I have no idea what he is beyond likely something in the echeveria range. Would you be able to help me identify him? The last photo is the oldest one I have right now. Also, I knocked one of the babies off when I was pulling off some dead leaves. Is there something I can do to make it root?I’m really sorry but I don’t know what species or hybrid of Echeveria this is. However, that may be because it’s not exhibiting its optimal growth habit, as it is currently growing in too little light. I originally thought the leaves were meant to be shiny, but in fact the dusty coating on many Echeveria leaves is sunlight protection, so it would make sense for this plant to not produce that. Try to move it to a brighter area, acclimatising it gradually so it doesn’t burn. The baby looks very healthy though, and will root if placed on a moist but very well-draining soil mix. :) -- source link
