A nicely matched pairOne of the toughest jobs jewellers face is finding stones with colours to match to include them in larger pieces such as parures (gem set necklaces) or in suites of jewellery (eg a combo of ring, earrings, pendant and bracelet). Some will accumulate stones for years that fit together from many varied sources until they have enough to complete the design that they have in mind.
