GRIT Here are some drawings that I felt compelled to create within these past months. I have a lot of bitterness in my soul for these new social norms that we all must conform to and participate in. Here is my hottake. . . . The first image is of rich people at a coffee shop, while right next to them a homeless person shoots up heroin. This is something that I see every time I go to downtown Seattle. . . the second images of a young girl who can only find her self-worth on the internet. her only identity is the likes and the follows. and when someone else gets more likes than she, she feels defeated in every sense. . . the third photo is of two mice watching the television. On the television there is a snake wearing mouse ears. The caption on the TV says BUY IT. . . The fourth photo is a follow-up from the fourth like a comic strip. The mice in the chair watches the news and doesn’t believe that the snakes would do anything to hurt the mice. . . The last image is a picture of a farmer and a regular modern citizen. The farmer makes a point that everything you see around you was built and created. And the person who didn’t do anything in their lives agrees and believe everything was done for them. . .
