Some nice 3D and digital backgrounds in the Psycho Pass movie. BG-team wasn’t exceptionally good or notable and the whole movie had troubles with all visuals.Shiotani Naoyoshi is a great director, but he certainly has troubles trying to keep up schedules and animation quality in his longer works. Especially Psycho Pass franchise has always had production troubles. Season 1 had episodes 18-19 which were aired even though they were only partly completed (for which he apoligized in his twitter) and the whole season 2 which looked awful. -- source link
