This manuscript map, drawn with watercolor, shows the region around Grinnell Land and De Haven Bay in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago, and relief is shown by hachures. This expedition was financed by Henry Grinnell and led by Elisa Kent Kane. They undertook the journey in an effort to find the lost Franklin Expedition, which embarked from England in 1845.
