WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS? Is probably the most asked question. And then I see a big problem, because this question is not process focused, it’s result focused. The problem here is that result might not come as expected, or take longer time to achieve, or not come at all, while the process might last for as long as we are alive. Let me share with you my thoughts about why it is better to focus on the process. One of the major components of the process in fitness is movement. Our brain is made to move. Here is a fun fact - do you know that a sea squirt once it stops moving eats its brain out? When the locomotive creature becomes stationary, its brain is no longer needed, and they “eat their own brains.” The nervous system disintegrates, because it’s simply a waste of energy without the need for movement. That’s why I’d rather suggest to focus more on integrating movement into your life. Work on the quality and efficiency of movement. We might change the results we want to have, however we can’t change the fact that we were made to move. Let’s move before we start “eating our brains out”. Especially during nowadays moving becomes a crucial necessity.
