COMFORT ZONE IS NOT COMFORTABLE? Back in the days I felt like I was loosing myself. I was barely smiling, and when people were asking how was I my answer was - thanks, I’m still alive. Not very inspiring, right? I felt drained and exhausted and the worst part was - I wasn’t enjoying my job as I used to. It became more automated, I knew it inside out, it seemed like everything was fine, and I could just continue with my robotic everyday routine. I was in my comfort zone. This is the type of comfort that you get over time and which makes you feel kinda safe. Kinda comfortable, kinda safe. I was thinking how it would be if I changed it? I invested so much time and effort, I got attached to people I was working with, to the clients, it was huge part of my life. I was thinking how uncomfortable it would be to change everything until I realised my “comfort” zone wasn’t comfortable at all. Just because I was used to the discomfort and pain in that situation, didn’t mean it was good for me. Yes, of course, I knew how to manage that discomfort and it was very familiar to me, and throughout time I’ve had adopted the ways to deal with it, but the reality was - I was in pain, I was suffering, and I wasn’t happy anymore. Accepting my feelings gave me this energy to move on and go out of my so called comfort zone. And you know what? I’m back to happy and content. Am I comfortable? Frankly speaking not always. Comfort is relative, happiness isn’t. Tell me about your comfort zone, are you happy there? #comfort #happiness #onlinefitnesscoach Photo by @lidophotography (at Saudi Arabia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CVDnyTHI7tm/?utm_medium=tumblr -- source link
