Some days call for some waffles. Recipe below for whole grain spelt waffles. I made these on Sunday as part of my last suppers before my cleanse. Let’s just say things got a bit out of hand. Like 6 waffles later I was like what happened. Whole Grain Spelt Waffles Ingredients 1 1/2 cups whole spelt flour 2 Tablespoons coconut sugar 1 1/2 Tablespoons baking powder 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cups non-dairy milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/3 cup coconut oil Instructions 1.Heat up waffle iron 2.Whisk together the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients and allow to rise for a few minutes while your waffle iron heats up. 3.Brush the waffle iron with a little oil. Put the batter in the waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
