Tough book to get through. #circleofbookishfriends I buddy read Carrion Comfort last year at Christmas with my girls @jobis89 and @ab_reads and if I didn’t have them to pull me through this one, I probably would have quit.Not only is this book long and a bit sluggish, it’s so heavy and dark. It was hard to look forward to getting snuggled up in bed to read more acts of depraved humanity.There were a few scenes (Abbie was clearly ahead of me) where the girls were waiting for me to read it because they knew I’d be overwhelmed.
