Though we should all take care of one another during this time, this piece makes my heart reflect on those that live alone or in isolation with ‘me, myself, and I’. Close your eyes to envision the sun shining over your body and radiating your cells to good health and calling for mental and physical well-being. This sculpture reminds me of strength, courage, and perseverance. The braids remind me of the vines of the earth—braided and intertwined, showing we are all one."
