Their shining fire absorbs the life energy of people and Pokemon, which becomes the fuel that they burn. As Litwick grow and their spiritual energy increases, so does their eerie flame and body temperature. When their wax gets too heated, Litwick have difficulty maintaining their shape, and will go in search of a metal candle holder until they are strong enough to possess a larger vessel.#608.5 - Having merged their spirit with an oil lamp, Lampent roam throughout cities in search of spirits of the fallen. This ominous Pokemon is feared as an emissary of death; they are known to hang around hospitals and appear near the moment of death to steal spirits from their bodies. As they absorb more and more spirits to fuel their baleful fire, they grow new ports to channel additional spouts of flame.
