“Is this Art?” I showed my work to some professors at various german art schools and they all seem to be very old-fashioned and extremely biased when it comes to anything that is Manga or simply pretty. One of the professors said to one of my pieces “Das ist doch Quark” - (which roughly translates to “That’s just nonsense”). I wasn’t sure how to respond to that… I felt embarassed.Art is my passion. No matter what the professors think, I won’t stop painting these “generic” and “unoriginal” pieces, because that’s what makes me happy :) -- source link
